Dormant plants is a site-specific installation in the main hall of the hotel called INNside. The existing plants in the main hall that are at a height within human touch are living plants, while the plants that are out of reach are fake and made of plastic. ”Dormant plants” are objects that look like pictures of real carnivorous plants, though they are actually non-existing lifeforms. The images were made by mixing and transforming pictures from existing carnivorous plant species.
